"Where a calculator on the ENIAC is equpped with 18,000 vaccuum tubes and weighs 30 tons, computers in the future may have only 1,000 vaccuum tubes and perhaps weigh 1 1/2 tons."

If your just getting started and always wanted to build a web page of your own, but never really knew how. I recommend you start by exploring the links below.

Basic HTML is fairly easy to learn and fun to write. All you need to get started is a little patience and a good text editor to create your web pages. I recommend you stick with a text editor such as notepad or textpad and don't try and use one of the wysiwyg type HTML editors out there, until you understand how to create HTML code on your own.

If you are just learning, sometimes these editors can cause more confusion and problems then they are worth and even when they do work, what good is it if you do not understand the resulting HTML? Notepad, that comes bundled with windows, works just fine in a pinch and you will learn a lot more "coding by hand".
